Georgia High School Basketball - North Forsyth overwhelms Habersham Central
January 13, 2024: Cumming, GA 30040 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the North Forsyth Raiders (Cumming, GA) and the visiting Habersham Central Raiders (Mt. Airy, GA), saw North Forsyth's basketball squad wallop Habersham Central by a tally of 53-20.
With the victory, North Forsyth improves its record to 17-0 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Apalachee (Winder, GA) to confront the Wildcats in a AAAAAA Region 8 challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 8-9. Apalachee lost 50-33 in their recent league challenge against Habersham Central (Mt. Airy, GA)
Next up, the Raiders confront the Lanier Longhorns (Sugar Hill, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 8 challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Habersham Central will attempt to improve on its 5-10 season record. The Longhorns come into the challenge with a 7-9 record after their 39-37 league win over Gainesville (Gainesville, GA).
