The Westwood Redhawks tipped the host Lower Richland Diamond Hornets basketball team by a final score of 50-44 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Redhawks face the Lugoff-Elgin Demons (Lugoff, SC) in a AAAA Region 5 game, on Tuesday, January 16. Westwood will attempt to move on its 11-6 season record. The Demons enter the game with a 3-14 record after their 84-51 non-league loss to Trinity Collegiate (Darlington, SC).
