January 13, 2024: Loveland, CO 80538 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Resurrection Christian Cougars (Loveland, CO) and the visiting Lutheran Lions (Parker, CO), saw Resurrection Christian's basketball squad overcome Lutheran by a tally of 44-35.
With the victory, Resurrection Christian improves its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Cougars host Berthoud (Berthoud, CO) to confront the Spartans in a 4A Patriot challenge on Thursday, January 18. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 3-9. Berthoud lost 59-35 in their recent non-league challenge against The Classical Academy (Colorado Springs, CO)
Next up, the Lions confront the Palmer Ridge Bears (Monument, CO) in a 5A/4A Pikes Peak challenge, on Wednesday, January 17. Lutheran will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 9-4 record after their 43-33 non-league win over Pueblo County (Pueblo, CO).
