January 13, 2024: Prosper, TX 75078 Walnut Grove Wildcats (Prosper, TX) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Azle Hornets (Azle, TX), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Wildcats confront the Liberty Redhawks (Frisco, TX) in a 5A Region 2 District 10 challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Walnut Grove will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record.
The Hornets now possess a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Trimble Tech for a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 18. Azle will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to McKinney North (McKinney, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-4.
