Texas High School Soccer - Magnolia West knocks off Stratford
January 13, 2024: Magnolia, TX 77354 Magnolia West Mustangs (Magnolia, TX) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Stratford Spartans (Houston, TX), 7-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Mustangs confront the A&M Consolidated Tigers (College Station, TX) in a 5A Region 3 District 21 challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Magnolia West will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 6-1 non-league win over Joshua (Joshua, TX).
The Spartans now have a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Houston Math Science & Tech for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 17. Stratford will confront a Tigers team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Klein Collins (Spring, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 1-6.
