The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Hartford Public Owls (Hartford, CT) and the visiting Metropolitan Learning Center Dragons (Bloomfield, CT), observed Hartford Public's basketball team knock off Metropolitan Learning Center by a score of 55-44.

The Owls (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Windham RVT (Willimantic, CT). The Mighty Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 7-1 record. In their last challenge, Windham RVT prevailed over Wright Tech (Stamford, CT), 86-50, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Dragons battle the Achievement First (Hartford, CT) in a Capitol Region challenge, on Thursday, January 16.
