Georgia High School Basketball - Central overwhelms Webster County

January 13, 2025: Talbotton, GA 31827

The Central Hawks basketball team scored 77 points and limited the visiting Webster County to 49 in the Hawks league triumph on Monday.

The Hawks now have a 9-5 record. They play next when they travel to Crawford County for a A D2 Region 6 game on Tuesday, January 14. Central will confront a Eagles team coming off a 106-20 league win over Furlow Charter School (Americus, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 7-8.

With the loss, Webster County falls to 3-8 on the campaign. The travel to Schley County (Ellaville, GA) to confront the Wildcats in a A D2 Region 6 game on Tuesday, January 14. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 2-11. Schley County lost 80-46 in their recent league game against Chattahoochee County (Cusseta, GA)
