January 13, 2025: Cushing, OK 74023 The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Woodward Boomers (Woodward, OK) and the host Cushing Tigers (Cushing, OK), observed Woodward's basketball team knock off Cushing by a score of 71-58.
The Boomers (7-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Clinton (Clinton, OK). The Red Tornadoes come into the non-league challenge with a 4-8 record. In their last challenge, Clinton was knocked off by Anadarko (Anadarko, OK), 48-29, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Tigers encounter the Berryhill Chiefs (Tulsa, OK) in a Tulsa Seven challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Cushing will attempt to improve on its 10-5 season record. The Chiefs come into the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 68-60 non-league loss to Skiatook (Skiatook, OK).
