Washington High School Basketball - Cusick bested by Oakesdale
January 13, 2025: Cusick, WA 99119 Oakesdale Nighthawks (Oakesdale, WA) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Cusick Panthers (Cusick, WA), 61-48 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Oakesdale advances its record to 9-4 on the year. The Nighthawks travel to Dayton (Dayton, WA) to meet the Bulldogs in a 1B Southeast match on Saturday, January 18. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 7-8. Dayton lost 71-17 in their recent league match against Garfield-Palouse (Palouse, WA)
The Panthers now own a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northport for a 1B Northeast match on Tuesday, January 14. Cusick will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 81-29 league win over Curlew (Curlew, WA). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-3.
