January 13, 2025: Monroe, IA 50170 Earlham Cardinals (Earlham, IA) supporters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Prairie City-Monroe Mustangs (Monroe, IA), 62-58 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Earlham advances its record to 7-3 on the year. The Cardinals host Pleasantville (Pleasantville, IA) to face the Trojans in a West Central match on Tuesday, January 14. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 5-4. Pleasantville won 80-42 in their recent league match against Interstate 35 (Truro, IA)
The Mustangs now own a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Marshall for a Heart of Iowa - Large match on Tuesday, January 14. Prairie City-Monroe will face a Trojans squad coming off a 42-40 non-league win over Carlisle (Carlisle, IA). The Trojans record now stands at 7-5.
