High Point Baptist Academy Eagles (Geigertown, PA) supporters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host New Covenant Christian Flames (Lebanon, PA), 79-55 in a non-league match.

With the victory, High Point Baptist Academy advances its record to 7-1 on the year. The Eagles travel to Ephrata Mennonite (Ephrata, PA) to face the Legends in a Commonwealth Christian - East match on Tuesday, January 14. The Legends enter the match with a record of 2-2. Ephrata Mennonite won 60-46 in their recent non-league match against Conestoga Christian (Morgantown, PA)

The Flames now own a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harrisburg Academy for a non-league match on Friday, January 17. New Covenant Christian will face a Spartans squad coming off a 61-34 non-league loss to Christian School of York (York, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 0-4.
