Oklahoma High School Basketball - Mounds holds off Wetumka
January 13, 2025: Mounds, OK 74047 In Monday's non-league contest, the host Mounds Golden Eagles basketball team scored a close 44-39 triumph over the Wetumka Chieftains.
The Golden Eagles (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Liberty (Mounds, OK). The Tigers go into the Frisco contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, Liberty nipped Porter (Porter, OK), 64-35, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Chieftains confront the Schulter Bulldogs (Schulter, OK) in a Crossroads contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Wetumka will attempt to better on its 7-6 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 8-3 record after their 56-55 non-league win over Maud (Maud, OK).
