New Mexico High School Basketball - Grants bested by Hope Christian
January 13, 2025: Grants, NM 87020 Hope Christian Huskies (Albuquerque, NM) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Grants Pirates (Grants, NM), 50-32 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Hope Christian advances its record to 9-1 on the year. The Huskies travel to Bernalillo (Bernalillo, NM) to meet the Spartans in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 21. The Spartans enter the match with a record of 2-7.
The Pirates now own a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Zuni for a non-league match on Wednesday, January 15. Grants will meet a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 59-31 non-league loss to Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NM). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 2-1.
