January 13, 2025: Johnstown, PA 15905 Bishop McCort Crushers (Johnstown, PA) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Bedford Bisons (Bedford, PA), 74-40 in a league match.
With the victory, Bishop McCort advances its record to 10-1 on the year. The Crushers host Bishop Carroll (Ebensburg, PA) to face the Huskies in a Laurel Highlands match on Thursday, January 16. The Huskies enter the match with a record of 8-4. Bishop Carroll won 58-31 in their recent league match against Somerset (Somerset, PA)
The Bisons now own a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clearfield for a Laurel Highlands match on Friday, January 17. Bedford will face a Bison squad coming off a 74-68 league win over Penns Valley Area (Spring Mills, PA). The Bison record now stands at 6-3.
