The Sapulpa Chieftains basketball team scored 49 points and limited the host Jenks Trojans to 40 in the Chieftains league triumph on Monday.

The Chieftains now possess a 5-7 record. They play next when they travel to Enid for a 6A District 4 game on Tuesday, January 14. Sapulpa will confront a Plainsmen team coming off a 50-11 non-league win over Star-Spencer (Spencer, OK). The Plainsmen record now stands at 5-4.

With the loss, Jenks falls to 6-6 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Edmond North (Edmond, OK) to confront the Huskies in a 6A District 4 game on Tuesday, January 14. The Huskies go into the game with a record of 7-4. Edmond North won 61-23 in their recent league game against Enid (Enid, OK)
