Iowa High School Basketball - Waukon nips Waterloo East
January 13, 2025: Waterloo, IA 50703 In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Waukon Indians basketball team scored a close 38-33 win over the Waterloo East Trojans.
The Indians (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against New Hampton (New Hampton, IA). The Chickasaws come into the Northeast Iowa contest with a 2-9 record. In their last contest, New Hampton was tipped by Kee (Lansing, IA), 54-45, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Trojans battle the Lincoln Railsplitters (Des Moines, IA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Waterloo East will attempt to better on its 2-7 season record. The Railsplitters come into the contest with a 3-7 record after their 59-13 non-league loss to Center Point-Urbana (Center Point, IA).
