Sheridan Generals (Thornville, OH) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their basketball team smash the host New Lexington Panthers (New Lexington, OH), 65-24 in a league contest.

The Generals (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Tri-Valley (Dresden, OH). The Scotties go into the Muskingum Valley contest with a 9-5 record. In their last contest, Tri-Valley smashed Meadowbrook (Byesville, OH), 61-27, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Panthers confront the Meadowbrook Colts (Byesville, OH) in a Ohio Valley AAAA contest, on Friday, January 16. New Lexington will attempt to better on its 2-9 season record. The Colts go into the contest with a 4-7 record after their 61-27 league loss to Tri-Valley (Dresden, OH).
