With the win, Immaculate Conception upgrades its record to 2-8 on the season. The Lions host Verona (Verona, NJ) to play the Hillbillies in a Super Essex - Independence bout on Monday, January 23. The Hillbillies go into the bout with a record of 7-4.

Next up, the Panthers play the Sussex County Tech (Sparta, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Cedar Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The go into the bout with a 0-6 record after their 50-37 league loss to Somerset Tech (Bridgewater, NJ).
