In Friday's league outing, the Brighton Bengals (Salt Lake City, UT) basketball squad edged the visiting Highland Rams (Salt Lake City, UT), by a margin of 52-48.

The Bengals (5-8) will now prepare for their outing against Murray (Murray, UT). The Spartans go into the 5A Region 6 outing with a 9-6 record. In their last outing, Murray held off Skyline (Salt Lake City, UT), 89-83, in a league outing.

The Rams now own a 6-9 record. They play next when they travel to Park City for a 5A Region 6 outing on Tuesday, January 18. Highland will clash with a Miners squad coming off a 82-40 league loss to Olympus (Salt Lake City, UT). The Miners record now stands at 2-6.
