El Segundo Eagles (El Segundo, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host North Saxons (Torrance, CA), 49-35 in a league bout.

With the win, El Segundo upgrades its record to 5-9 on the season. The Eagles travel to Torrance (Torrance, CA) to play the Tartars in a Pioneer bout on Wednesday, January 19. The Tartars go into the bout with a record of 6-10.
