The Fort Dorchester Patriots (North Charleston, SC) basketball knocked off the host Goose Creek Gators (Goose Creek, SC), 63-48 in Friday's non-league test.

The Patriots (14-1) will now prepare for their test against Stall (Charleston, SC). The Warriors go into the AAAAA Region 8 test with a 4-14 record. In their last test, Stall went down by Summerville (Summerville, SC), 68-57, in a league test.

The Gators now own a 12-5 record. They play next when they travel to Cane Bay for a AAAAA Region 7 test on Tuesday, January 18. Goose Creek will encounter a Cobras squad coming off a 61-43 league win over Stratford (Goose Creek, SC). The Cobras record now stands at 13-6.
