The Hemlock Huskies basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the visiting St. Louis Sharks to 44 in the Huskies league victory on Friday.

The Huskies now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valley Lutheran for a Tri-Valley - West contest on Tuesday, January 18. Hemlock will battle a Chargers team coming off a 55-54 league win over Bullock Creek (Midland, MI). The Chargers record now stands at 3-4.

The Sharks (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against Michigan Lutheran Seminary (Saginaw, MI). The Cardinals come into the Tri-Valley - West contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Michigan Lutheran Seminary was defeated by Ithaca (Ithaca, MI), 55-48, in a league contest.
