Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Southern Guilford Storm (Greensboro, NC) and the host High Point Central Bison (High Point, NC), saw Southern Guilford's basketball squad hold off High Point Central by a tally of 57-55.

With the victory, Southern Guilford improves its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Storm travel to Rockingham County (Wentworth, NC) to confront the Cougars in a 3A Conference 46 challenge on Friday, January 21. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 2-11.

Next up, the Bison confront the Dudley Panthers (Greensboro, NC) in a 3A Conference 46 challenge, on Friday, January 21. High Point Central will attempt to improve on its 3-13 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 12-4 record after their 67-59 non-league win over Quality Education Academy (Winston-Salem, NC).
