Massachusetts High School Basketball - Monson ripped by Northampton
January 14, 2022: Northampton, MA 01060 The Northampton Blue Devils basketball team scored 97 points and held the visiting Monson Mustangs to 19 in the Blue Devils non-league triumph on Friday.
The Blue Devils now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westfield for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 18. Northampton will meet a Bombers team coming off a 61-47 non-league win over Chicopee Comp (Chicopee, MA). The Bombers record now stands at 1-5.
The Mustangs (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against St. Mary (Westfield, MA). The Saints enter the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, St. Mary was routed by Mount Everett Regional (Sheffield, MA), 55-23, in a non-league contest.
