Florida High School Basketball - Merritt Island ripped by Sebastian River

January 14, 2022: Merritt Island, FL 32953

The Sebastian River Sharks basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Merritt Island Mustangs to 21 in the Sharks non-league triumph on Friday.

The Sharks now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Fork for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 19. Sebastian River will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 31-17 non-league win over Somerset College Prep Academy (Port St. Lucie, FL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-8.

The Mustangs (2-17) will now prepare for their contest against Satellite (Satellite Beach, FL). The Scorpions enter the non-league match with a 4-11 record. In their last match, Satellite was ripped by Heritage (Palm Bay, FL), 62-22, in a non-league match.
