Illinois High School Basketball - Naperville Central nudges Metea Valley

January 14, 2022: Aurora, IL 60502

In Friday's league outing, the Naperville Central Redhawks (Naperville, IL) basketball squad edged the host Metea Valley Mustangs (Aurora, IL), by a margin of 48-42.

The Redhawks (10-7) will now prepare for their outing against Lake Park (Roselle, IL). The Lancers go into the non-league outing with a 10-7 record. In their last outing, Lake Park was tipped by Geneva (Geneva, IL), 51-48, in a league outing.

The Mustangs now own a 2-12 record. They play next when they travel to Glenbard West for a non-league outing on Monday, January 17. Metea Valley will clash with a Hilltoppers squad coming off a 31-25 league win over Oak Park-River Forest (Oak Park, IL). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 13-8.
