California High School Basketball - Redondo Union holds off Peninsula
January 14, 2022: Rolling Hills Estates, CA 90274 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Redondo Union Sea Hawks (Redondo Beach, CA) and the host Peninsula Panthers (Rolling Hills Estates, CA), saw Redondo Union's basketball squad hold off Peninsula by a tally of 58-53.
With the victory, Redondo Union improves its record to 9-6 on the campaign. The Sea Hawks travel to Orangewood Academy (Garden Grove, CA) to confront the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 15. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 12-4. Orangewood Academy won 71-56 in their recent non-league challenge against Santa Margarita (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA)
Next up, the Panthers confront the Palos Verdes Sea Kings (Palos Verdes Estates, CA) in a Bay challenge, on Tuesday, January 18. Peninsula will attempt to improve on its 10-7 season record. The Sea Kings come into the challenge with a 3-11 record after their 62-28 league loss to Culver City (Culver City, CA).
