Ohio High School Basketball - Bellbrook holds off Kenton Ridge
January 14, 2023: Bellbrook, OH 45305 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Bellbrook Golden Eagles (Bellbrook, OH) and the visiting Kenton Ridge Cougars (Springfield, OH), saw Bellbrook's basketball squad hold off Kenton Ridge by a tally of 62-61.
With the victory, Bellbrook improves its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Golden Eagles travel to Waynesville (Waynesville, OH) to confront the Spartans in a Southwestern Buckeye - East challenge on Friday, January 20. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 8-4.
Next up, the Cougars confront the North Union Wildcats (Richwood, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Kenton Ridge will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 6-7 record after their 47-41 non-league loss to Johnstown-Monroe (Johnstown, OH).
