In Saturday's non-league outing, the Cactus Shadows Falcons (Cave Creek, AZ) basketball squad beat the visiting Higley Knights (Gilbert, AZ), by a margin of 75-63.

The Falcons (13-5) will now prepare for their outing against Horizon (Scottsdale, AZ). The Huskies go into the 5A Northeast Valley outing with a 10-6 record. In their last outing, Horizon defeated Desert Edge (Goodyear, AZ), 63-51, in a non-league outing.

The Knights now own a 4-9 record. They play next when they host Corona del Sol for a non-league outing on Monday, January 16. Higley will clash with a Aztecs squad coming off a 67-49 league win over Desert Vista (Phoenix, AZ). The Aztecs record now stands at 5-11.
