Colorado High School Basketball - Las Animas crushes Center

January 14, 2023: Las Animas, CO 81054

Las Animas Trojans (Las Animas, CO) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Center Vikings (Center, CO), 71-49 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Las Animas upgrades its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Crowley County (Ordway, CO) to play the Chargers in a 3A/2A Santa Fe bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Chargers come into the bout with a record of 12-0. Crowley County won 46-37 in their recent non-league bout against Des Moines (Des Moines, NM)

Next up, the Vikings play the Crested Butte Titans (Crested Butte, CO) in a 3A/2A Southern Peaks bout, on Thursday, January 19. Center will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record.
