The Clarke County Bulldogs basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the visiting Shields Panthers to 21 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Saturday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to W.S. Neal for a non-league contest on Monday, January 16. Clarke County will battle a Eagles team coming off a 58-41 league loss to Hillcrest (Evergreen, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 8-9.

The Panthers (6-13) will now prepare for their contest against McKenzie (McKenzie, AL). The Tigers come into the 1A Area 3 contest with a 4-8 record. In their last contest, McKenzie was routed by Pleasant Home (Andalusia, AL), 72-60, in a league contest.
