The Cooper Dragons (The Woodlands, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting St. Stephen's Episcopal Spartans (Austin, TX), 58-45 in Saturday's league contest.

The Dragons now sport a 14-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Houston Christian for a Southwest Prep - South contest on Friday, January 20. Cooper will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 78-51 non-league win over CHSA HomeSchool (Houston, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 23-4.

The Spartans (10-9) will now prepare for their contest against Episcopal (Bellaire, TX). The Knights enter the Southwest Prep - South contest with a 9-12 record. In their last contest, Episcopal ran past St. John's (Houston, TX), 62-55, in a league contest.
