Virginia High School Basketball - National Christian Academy tipped by Fairfax

The Fairfax Lions basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting National Christian Academy Eagles to 54 in the Lions non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Lions now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Alexandria City for a District 4 contest on Tuesday, January 17. Fairfax will meet a Titans team coming off a 62-57 league win over Lake Braddock (Burke, VA). The Titans record now stands at 12-3.

The Eagles (12-8) will now prepare for their contest against Mt. Zion Prep Academy (Lanham, MD). The Warriors enter the Freelance contest with a 14-9 record. In their last contest, Mt. Zion Prep Academy was nudged by Bishop McNamara (Forestville, MD), 54-48, in a league contest.
