Washington High School Basketball - Gig Harbor tops Lake Stevens
January 14, 2023: Gig Harbor, WA 98335 Gig Harbor Tides (Gig Harbor, WA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Lake Stevens Vikings (Lake Stevens, WA), 71-56 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Gig Harbor upgrades its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The Tides travel to River Ridge (Lacey, WA) to play the Hawks in a 3A South Sound bout on Wednesday, January 18. The Hawks come into the bout with a record of 0-12. River Ridge lost 94-39 in their recent league bout against Timberline (Lacey, WA)
Next up, the Vikings play the Mariner Marauders (Everett, WA) in a 4A Wesco bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Lake Stevens will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Marauders come into the bout with a 9-6 record after their 80-72 non-league win over Nathan Hale (Seattle, WA).
