The Muncie Burris Owls basketball team (Muncie, IN), was toppled 63-52 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Liberty Christian Lions (Anderson, IN)

The Lions now possess a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Winchester Community for a non-league battle on Friday, January 20. Liberty Christian will confront a Golden Falcons team coming off a 65-53 non-league win over Blackford (Hartford City, IN). The Golden Falcons record now stands at 9-5.

The Owls (0-8) will now prepare for their battle against Cowan (Muncie, IN). The Blackhawks come into the non-league battle with a 6-5 record. In their last battle, Cowan was toppled by Yorktown (Yorktown, IN), 81-61, in a non-league battle.
