January 14, 2023: Waukon, IA 52172 The Waukon Indians basketball team (Waukon, IA), was overwhelmed 58-36 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Monticello Panthers (Monticello, IA)
The Panthers now possess a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bellevue for a River Valley battle on Tuesday, January 17. Monticello will battle a Comets team coming off a 54-36 non-league win over Beckman (Dyersville, IA). The Comets record now stands at 9-3.
The Indians (2-11) will now prepare for their battle against New Hampton (New Hampton, IA). The Chickasaws come into the Northeast Iowa battle with a 4-7 record.
