Georgia High School Basketball - Roswell tops Westminster
January 14, 2023: Roswell, GA 30075 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Roswell Hornets (Roswell, GA) and the visiting Westminster Wildcats (Atlanta, GA), saw Roswell's basketball squad knock off Westminster by a tally of 70-54.
With the victory, Roswell improves its record to 5-13 on the campaign. The Hornets host Lassiter (Marietta, GA) to play the Trojans in a AAAAAA Region 7 challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 6-12. Lassiter won 69-67 in their recent non-league challenge against Dunwoody (Dunwoody, GA)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Clarkston Angoras (Clarkston, GA) in a AAAA Region 6 challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Westminster will attempt to improve on its 7-10 season record. The Angoras come into the challenge with a 3-14 record after their 54-48 league loss to Stone Mountain (Stone Mountain, GA).
