Kentucky High School Basketball - Somerset knocked off by Southwestern
January 14, 2023: Somerset, KY 42503 The Southwestern Warriors basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Somerset Briar Jumpers to 53 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Warriors now sport a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Adair County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 17. Southwestern will meet a Indians team coming off a 71-38 non-league win over Thomas Nelson (Bardstown, KY). The Indians record now stands at 13-4.
The Briar Jumpers (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against Burgin (Burgin, KY). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 2-10 record.
