January 14, 2023: Racine, OH 45771 The Southern Tornadoes basketball team (Racine, OH), was nudged 59-55 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Wahama White Falcons (Mason, WV)
The White Falcons now possess a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Williamstown for a Little Kanawha - West battle on Tuesday, January 17. Wahama will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 74-64 non-league win over Weir (Weirton, WV). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 10-0.
The Tornadoes (2-9) will now prepare for their battle against Nelsonville-York (Nelsonville, OH). The Buckeyes come into the non-league battle with a 8-6 record. In their last battle, Nelsonville-York edged Crooksville (Crooksville, OH), 53-47, in a non-league battle.
