January 14, 2023: Anacoco, LA 71403 The Anacoco Indians (Anacoco, LA) basketball crushed the visiting Opelousas Tigers (Opelousas, LA), 57-17 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Indians (14-8) will now prepare for their test against Hicks (Leesville, LA). The Pirates go into the B District 4 test with a 13-8 record.
The Tigers now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they host Carencro for a non-league test on Sunday, January 15. Opelousas will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 40-39 league loss to New Iberia (New Iberia, LA). The Bears record now stands at 2-7.
