Illinois High School Basketball - Glenbrook North tops Buffalo Grove
January 14, 2023: Northbrook, IL 60062 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Glenbrook North Spartans (Northbrook, IL) and the visiting Buffalo Grove Bison (Buffalo Grove, IL), saw Glenbrook North's basketball squad knock off Buffalo Grove by a count of 41-31.
With the victory, Glenbrook North upgrades its record to 14-6 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Highland Park (Highland Park, IL) to play the Giants in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Giants come into the challenge with a record of 9-7. Highland Park lost 32-30 in their recent league challenge against Maine West (Des Plaines, IL)
Next up, the Bison play the Vernon Hills Cougars (Vernon Hills, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 16. Buffalo Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 6-14 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 10-9 record after their 72-51 league loss to Deerfield (Deerfield, IL).
