January 14, 2023: Marlton, NJ 08053 The Cherokee Chiefs (Marlton, NJ) basketball nipped the visiting Woodbury Thundering Herd (Woodbury, NJ), 50-43 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Chiefs (10-1) will now prepare for their test against Cherry Hill East (Cherry Hill, NJ). The Cougars go into the Olympic - American test with a 1-7 record. In their last test, Cherry Hill East was tipped by Burlington Township (Burlington, NJ), 39-24, in a non-league test.
The Thundering Herd now own a 10-1 record. They play next when they travel to Paul VI for a non-league test on Monday, January 16. Woodbury will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 69-45 non-league win over University (Newark, NJ). The Eagles record now stands at 10-1.
