South Dakota High School Basketball - McLaughlin ripped by Elk Point-Jefferson
January 14, 2023: Elk Point, SD 57025 The Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting McLaughlin Mustangs to 19 in the Huskies non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Huskies now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Vermillion for a A Region 4 contest on Tuesday, January 17. Elk Point-Jefferson will meet a Tanagers team coming off a 53-52 non-league win over Wagner (Wagner, SD). The Tanagers record now stands at 11-0.
The Mustangs (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Mobridge-Pollock (Mobridge, SD). The Tigers enter the A Region 6 contest with a 4-3 record.
