The St. Rose Purple Roses (Belmar, NJ) basketball nipped the visiting Ewing Blue Devils (Trenton, NJ), 66-61 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Purple Roses (10-1) will now prepare for their test against Wall Township (Wall, NJ). The Crimson Knights go into the non-league test with a 4-5 record. In their last test, Wall Township was tipped by Manasquan (Manasquan, NJ), 47-34, in a non-league test.
