Iowa High School Basketball - Garretson knocked off by Sergeant Bluff-Luton
January 14, 2023: Sergeant Bluff, IA 51054 The Sergeant Bluff-Luton Warriors basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Garretson Blue Dragons to 49 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Warriors now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Le Mars for a Missouri River contest on Tuesday, January 17. Sergeant Bluff-Luton will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 61-56 league loss to Sioux City East (Sioux City, IA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-5.
The Blue Dragons (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Sioux Falls Christian (Sioux Falls, SD). The Chargers enter the A Region 3 contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, Sioux Falls Christian ran past Watertown (Watertown, SD), 59-34, in a non-league contest.
