The Liberty-Benton Eagles basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Kenton Wildcats to 36 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Eagles now sport a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Baltimore for a Blanchard Valley contest on Thursday, January 26.

The Wildcats (5-10) will now prepare for their contest against Wapakoneta (Wapakoneta, OH). The Redskins enter the Western Buckeye contest with a 2-13 record. In their last contest, Wapakoneta was knocked off by Findlay (Findlay, OH), 51-36, in a non-league bout.
