Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Pottsgrove Falcons (Pottsgrove, PA) and the host Lower Merion Aces (Ardmore, PA), saw Pottsgrove's basketball squad hold off Lower Merion by a tally of 41-34.

With the victory, Pottsgrove improves its record to 6-8 on the campaign. The Falcons host Owen J. Roberts (Pottstown, PA) to play the Wildcats in a Pioneer challenge on Thursday, January 19. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 6-8.

Next up, the Aces play the Penncrest Lions (Media, PA) in a Central challenge, on Thursday, January 19. Lower Merion will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 51-36 league loss to Conestoga (Berwyn, PA).
