New York High School Basketball - South Jefferson winner over Susquehanna Valley
January 14, 2023: Adams, NY 13605 The South Jefferson Spartans (Adams, NY) basketball felled the visiting Susquehanna Valley Sabers (Conklin, NY), 57-46 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Spartans (2-9) will now prepare for their test against Carthage (Carthage, NY). The Comets go into the Section 3 Frontier B test with a 0-14 record. In their last test, Carthage was beaten by Watertown (Watertown, NY), 47-22, in a league test.
The Sabers now own a 5-5 record. They play next when they host Chenango Forks for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 18. Susquehanna Valley will encounter a Blue Devils squad coming off a 70-45 league win over Norwich (Norwich, NY). The Blue Devils record now stands at 9-3.
