New Mexico High School Basketball - Atrisco Heritage Academy trounces Rio Grande
January 14, 2023: Albuquerque, NM 87105 The Atrisco Heritage Academy Jaguars (Albuquerque, NM) basketball crushed the host Rio Grande Ravens (Albuquerque, NM), 46-5 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Jaguars (3-3) will now prepare for their test against Cibola (Albuquerque, NM). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Cibola was trounced by La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM), 48-32, in a non-league test.
The Ravens now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Capital for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 17. Rio Grande will encounter a Jaguars squad coming off a 61-40 non-league loss to Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM). The Jaguars record now stands at 5-9.
