Buford Wolves (Buford, GA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting River Ridge Knights (Woodstock, GA), 47-28 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Buford upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign.

Next up, the Knights play the Creekview Grizzlies (Canton, GA) in a bout, on Friday, January 20. River Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Grizzlies come into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 45-13 non-league loss to Cherokee (Canton, GA).
